“Peach le Fleur”
This entire canvas is covered in paper. Yes, even the background. The flowers are actually flowers, but the leaves are made from a satin blouse. The vase is made from a stretchy striped dress. The tabletop is a curtain panel from a luxurious study.
I wanted to use images of fabrics being worn to create the vessels to be a visual representation of what I mean when I say “You Deserve Flowers.” The actual you. Your body for doing the responsible things like exercising and buying groceries. Being gracious and gentle with yourself. For showing kindness and growth. For all the things. You deserve flowers.
